    APMA is an AI-powered mobile application designed to empower smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa with tools to improve animal health, productivity, and profitability of their enterprises

    Between 2000 and 2016, almost 360 animal disease outbreaks were recorded across 116 countries, causing enormous economic losses of more than $200 million, impacting trade and affecting global food security. Of these outbreaks, two-thirds were caused by just five diseases, including Avian Influenza, Foot and Mouth Disease and African Swine Fever (ASF), highlighting the opportunities available to better target and manage livestock disease. the people that felt most of this disease outbreaks were on the African continent with fragile systems and affecting small holder farmers .

    Our business model is a B2B2C type with our product intended for both small holder and medium scale farmers and the product is easily available on playstore We are using a subscription model in the app for users to continuously access all our services in the app where each user pays $5 a month and $50 a year fee and we have local payment methods like mobile money and also credit cards adverts are also displayed in the app to generate revenue

    The Apma mobile app provides several essential farm management services and tools in 1 app. First we have disease treatment competencies which it provides using artificial intelligence. Location mapping using Google maps inside the app to locate markets by just clicking on find markets where farmers can sell their products and each farmer can locate another farmer in his area. Next the app provides the farmer with the means to plan activities and keep reminders. Then we have a predictive analytics area where each farmer can calculate how much feed and drugs or others expenses of the farm and have this information in a very easy way to understand.
